• Is a gun case required for transporting firearms?

  In Germany, firearms must be transported unloaded and in a locked container when carried outside your own home. A sturdy, lockable hard-shell case meets this requirement.

• What is the difference between a pistol case and a rifle case?

  A pistol case is compact (typically 30–50 cm long) and designed for handguns. A rifle case is longer (from approx. 80 cm) and holds long guns including scope and accessories.

• How waterproof are the TOMcase gun cases?

  The gun cases in the XT series are IP67-certified – completely dustproof and waterproof up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes. An integrated pressure equalization valve prevents pressure build-up when opening.

• Can I customize the foam myself?

  Yes. The TOMcase universal models come with grid foam that you can break into shape yourself without tools. For models with custom-fit inlays, the foam is cut to fit your firearm.

• Which gun case fits 5 pistols and magazines?

  The TOMcase XT430 (42×29×15 cm) holds up to 5 handguns and 18 magazines with custom-fit foam inserts.

• Can TOMcase cases be locked?

  Yes – all models in the TOMcase gun case series have lock eyelets, so the case can be securely locked with padlocks or TSA locks.

• How long is the warranty on TOMcase gun cases?

  All gun cases in the XT series come with a lifetime warranty on the case itself.
